Chrysler Freedom Fest

In support of our troops, we have invited the Michigan National Guardsmen who have served a tour of duty in Iraq, along with their families, to the Chrysler Freedom Fest, which is sponsored and funded by The Chrysler Foundation. 

The Freedom Fest will take place each morning for approximately 1500 Guardsmen from 10am 12pm on August 30 September 1, 2008 at the Chrysler Arts, Beats & Eats Festival and will include complimentary continental breakfast, parking, carnival rides, childrens arts and crafts and VIP seating at concerts.

If you are a Michigan National Guardsman who has served a tour of duty and would like to participate in the Chrysler Freedom Fest, please RSVP to Heather Eckman at (586) 239-5169.   Reservations are mandatory so we can properly accommodate as many families as possible.  If you are coming to the festival during these early morning times, please look for our service men and women, and let them know how much you appreciate their sacrifice.
